My Business Idea: Connecting Japan and the World🌎🎌

Have you ever found a product abroad and thought, “Why don’t we have this in Japan?”

Or maybe you have found an amazing Japanese product that people overseas have never heard of.

I would like to create a business that connects these products with new markets around the world.

My business would discover interesting products in Japan and other countries, such as food, fashion, and cosmetics, and introduce them to markets where they are not yet well known.

But I would not simply import and sell products. I would use digital marketing to understand what people in each market actually want. By researching trends and customer needs, and using social media, influencers, and digital advertising, I would create marketing strategies that fit each country.

For example, if I found a Japanese beauty product that could be popular in Canada, I would research Canadian beauty trends and work with local influencers to introduce the product in a way that appeals to Canadian customers. The same idea could work in the opposite direction, bringing popular products from Canada or other countries to Japan.

Before coming to Canada, I was interested in media marketing and wanted to work for an advertising agency or a publishing company. However, after coming to Canada, I met people from many different countries and had opportunities to talk with business professionals about my future. Their advice made me realize that I want to work in a more global environment.

I want to combine my interest in digital marketing with my international experience and create a business that connects Japan and the world.

I hope that one day I can help people discover great products they would never have found otherwise.
