MALATANG

 Hi! This is Haruka

Today I would like to share with you some of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. First of all, have you ever heard of MALATANG? This Chinese food is a noodle dish that allows you to choose your favorite ingredients, soup, and noodles to create your own personalized fillings.

It seems to be gaining popularity in Japan these days. This is because actress Satomi Ishihara has stated that she likes them.

I lived in Yokohama, a city in Japan, and if I wanted to eat MALATANG, I had to go to Shibuya. I am glad that there are many restaurants in Toronto.

Here are two stores from Toronto.

青蔬麻辣烫Qing Shu Malatang

5195 Yonge St, North York, ON

This place is about 10 min on foot from the North York Center station and has great soup. I'm a little disappointed that white fungus is not an ingredient option...

张亮麻辣烫 Zhang Liang Spicy Hotpot

482 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5T 1G9

This place is located near Kensington Market. A white fungus is in the filling and, surprisingly, frog legs. It is good for those who do not like spicy food as it is not too spicy.

Finally, we also introduce MALATAN restaurant, located in Shibuya.

四川麻辣湯 渋谷星星倶楽部(シブヤシンシンクラブ)
〒150-0042 東京都渋谷区宇田川町32−6 長崎ビル 1階

The store's exterior and interior are both stylish and Instagrammable. Of course, it also tastes delicious.

If any of you have never had Mara Tang, I encourage you to try it. I have eaten there 4 times in the last month. It's very addictive...

I wish there would be more MALATANG restaurants all over Japan!

Thank you for reading!
