Renewing experiences in Tenatch

 Hi Everybody!

 I’m Haruka Higashi. I joined this Tenatch as an intern. I studied information economics in Kyoto while working as a tour guide and an event organizer. Now I temporarily live in Vancouver for studying Business Administration and refining this knowledges through working in Canada. When it comes to job experiences, I currently work in a company managing a fancy salon as a marketer in Canada. I manage their social media platforms and a website. I try to attract more attention by posting edited image and short videos. This is basically my life in Canada!

 Then, I found this company expanding the concept of “Co-Retailing” from Toronto. What a coincidence! It is like a bridge between Canada and Japan and there is probably something I’m the only one who can do as a Vancouver member. I believe I could make use of my certain understanding on digital marketing and economics on this role. In addition, my family works on regional revitalization on the part of their business. Thanks to this, I have a strong curiosity for “Co-Retailing” and local projects in this place as well. I’m thrilled about enriching my experiences of life through those amazing and innovative projects for sure.

 By the way, I born and raised in Fukuoka. After that, I lived in Kyoto for three years. I sincerely love such a fascinating local city. I’ll go back to Kyoto this year and surely live there again. I believe I can tell you how beautiful Japanese local cities and how much potential they have while working.
