 Hi!

 I`m Yusaku Miura.

 It`s been an year since I come to Toronto. Now, I`m studying about marketing at college in downtown(technically I finished taking classes at school and next step is this intern). And I`m working at a printing company as a Imaging Specialist(Part-time job). 

Why I came here is that I want to obtain new skills and experiences related to marketing, business, English, and movies especially.

I was born and raised in Chiba, Japan. I`ve already graduated a University. In my University days, I was working at Tokyo Disney Land as a part time job for 2 years. After graduating the University, I was working for trading company in Tokyo as a sales man for 3 years.

My hobbies: snowboarding, traveling, watching soccer, movies, TV series, and anime.

Because of those hobbies, Toronto is the best place for me. It is easy to go to snow mountains and United States, and there are soccer and other sports stadiums and TIFF. I`m really happy to be here.

In the end, I believe that it is great opportunity to acquire marketing and other new practical and technical skills and experiences through this internship with working this team members.  

I`ll do my best for contributing to Tenatch and customers.

MALATANG

 Hi! This is Haruka

Today I would like to share with you some of my favorite restaurants in Toronto. First of all, have you ever heard of MALATANG？ This Chinese food is a noodle dish that allows you to choose your favorite ingredients, soup, and noodles to create your own personalized fillings.

It seems to be gaining popularity in Japan these days. This is because actress Satomi Ishihara has stated that she likes them.

I lived in Yokohama, a city in Japan, and if I wanted to eat MALATANG, I had to go to Shibuya. I am glad that there are many restaurants in Toronto.

Here are two stores from Toronto.

This place is about 10 min on foot from the North York Center station and has great soup. I'm a little disappointed that white fungus is not an ingredient option...

This place is located near Kensington Market. A white fungus is in the filling and, surprisingly, frog legs. It is good for those who do not like spicy food as it is not too spicy.

Finally, we also introduce MALATAN restaurant, located in Shibuya.

The store's exterior and interior are both stylish and Instagrammable. Of course, it also tastes　delicious.

If any of you have never had Mara Tang, I encourage you to try it. I have eaten there 4 times in the last month. It's very addictive...

I wish there would be more MALATANG restaurants all over Japan!

Hi 

My name is Ryo Aoyama. 

I studied computer programming in college for 2 years
I am currently focusing on web development. I love creating websites.

I have been abroad for quite a long time.
I live in Toronto for 3 years including a one-year stay for a working holiday. Additionally, I have also stayed in Australia for 2 years and in Philippines for 4 months.

I applied for this internship because it would be a great opportunity for me to further develop my skills and gain practical experience in web development. I am also interested in observing how the team collaborates, communicates, and solves problems. I have never worked in a remote team as well. I would like to experience that.

I love snowboarding. I go to the mountain(essentially, it is a hill as there is no mountain in Ontario) every year. If you are in Toronto, and like snowboarding, Let's go to the mountain together!

 Hi, my name is Haruka 

Now I am currently studying digital marketing at a college in Toronto.

I was born and raised in Yokosuka, Japan. After graduating from high school, I attended a nursing college, but I still wanted to learn more English, so I dropped out of college and attended an English college in Japan (but now I still studying English...English is an eternal mystery to me)

After graduating from college, I worked in the trading industry, importing shaving, chocolate, clothing, etc. I changed jobs and worked for a Japanese precision tool manufacturer for 6 years.

In fact, I loved that company and did not want to leave, but I wanted to experience more in this rapidly changing world, so I decided to leave the company and go to Toronto to study. it is also one of the reasons why I applied for this internship. I want to gain more experience and have more opportunities to communicate in English.

I don't have any hobbies... if I have to say, I like reading books. When I was in Japan, I read many mystery or detective novels. I want to be I can read the books in English also. If you have any suggestions for hobbies that I can do in Toronto, please let me know.

I wouldn't say it's a hobby, but I like to travel. Before covid, I went to Nepal. It was so fantastic. safe, the food was very good, and the country was truly mysterious. I strongly recommend you go to Nepal. I would like to visit Prince Edward Island while I am in Canada.

 Hello everyone. I’m Yuriko Oriyama😊

I’m studying flute in university. Born and raised in Tokyo. I'm working as a part time job at cafe and bookstore. I often perform a play in English and Japanese with anyone from children to adults. 

I applied this intern because I want broaden my horizon and talk with a lot of people whom I didn't have meet. Also this intern available communicate in English, it is interesting for me. In Japan, its available meeting Japanese, however they have same culture. Talking with foreign people is exciting. I feel that we can communicate though we have different backgrounds.

In my future, I want to work in foreign country and touch different culture. My friends who had been study abroad, makes me feel they are being active and open-minded. 

In my junior high school, I had participated wind orchestra club. Since then I play the flute for 8 years. Also, I play the piano. I have a dog and a bird. This is my dog's photo.

Snakes & Lattes is a first and biggest board game cafe, which established in 2010 in Toronto. Currently there are three locations in Toronto and four in the US.

There are many games in the cafe: board games, card games, and so on. According to Snakes & Lattes, they collected more than 3,000 games. I'm sure that you can find your favorite game!

Maybe you haven't played a game a lot ― Don't worry! Trained "game gurus" can teach you the rule. So you can try any game you've never played!

The color label on the game will help you choose which game to play. The cafe is taking traffic light system: green, yellow and red. These labels give an indication of how difficult the game is and how much help the game gurus can give.

In addition, there is a blue label which indicate the game is for two players. If you go there with your boy/girlfriend, you can choose the game with

Because all of us was new to this game, we asked the rule to a game guru. He taught us so kindly! The game was interesting because we have to use our brain a lot.

Not only games, but there are many different types of food and drinks, including alcohol. You can enjoy playing a game with eating and drinking!

Hello! My name is Yuri Fujiwara, and I'm from Japan.

I'm studying international liberal studies in Tokyo. I was also working part time job as a cram school teacher and a home tutor to give lessons.

I came to Toronto last September as an exchange student to broaden my horizon and improve my English. Now I'm learning political ecology and geopolitical issues. One of the points I really like Toronto is that people and the government accept diversity.

I applied to the internship in Tenatch because I was interested in the principle to help local issues and businesses. I also think that, through dealing with such issues, I can find the political problem which is the root cause of them.
